It's tax time, even for non-profits. Here's a little infor about what HSUS does and doesn't do with its' money.

It's sickening.   

I have had quite a few people ask me about the HSUS and PETA. I tell them to give their money locally. Call a shelter and ask what they need - whether it be food, blankets, cleaning supplies, etc - and personally go to that shelter with their contributions.

I actually have a lot of friends now who donate directly to our rescue. They know the volunteers don't make a single penny - all the money goes to caring for the dogs. They can even designate/sponsor a dog, if they want.

Just makes your head spin, don't it!

Too think that all that money they recieve does nothing for the animals.

Let's hope this is a sign of the rats jumping off the sinking ship.  Yellow Tail Wine, Pilot Travel Centers, Precious Cat Kitty Litter have all removed their sponsors of HSUS in the last couple weeks.
